Agreement to These Terms:  These Terms of Service form a binding legal agreement between you and Scented Story Co. Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, which operates the fragrance brand Scented Story Club through its official website at https://scentedstoryclub.com. By accessing this website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years old, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website immediately.

Our Products:  Scented Story Club sells Extrait de Parfum, discovery sets, gift boxes, and fragrance accessories exclusively through our official website. We do not currently sell through offline stores or any third-party platform, and purchases made anywhere other than our official website are entirely at the buyer's own risk. Product images on our website are for illustration only; actual colour, packaging, or presentation may vary slightly due to screen settings, photography, or the natural variation of raw materials, and this does not affect the quality of the product. Our perfumes contain alcohol and are intended for external skin use only; please read the ingredient list carefully if you have known fragrance sensitivities, keep products away from children and open flame, avoid contact with eyes, and discontinue use and consult a doctor if irritation occurs.

Accounts, Orders & Payment:  Creating an account lets you track orders and view your purchase history. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information and are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account; please notify us immediately at query@scentedstoryclub.com if you suspect unauthorised access. When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase, which is confirmed only once payment succeeds and you receive an order confirmation email. We may cancel or decline any order at our discretion, for example if a product is out of stock, payment cannot be verified, or we suspect fraud. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; we may change prices at any time, but the price shown to you at checkout is the price you will pay. We accept prepaid orders only, through UPI, credit or debit cards, net banking, or digital wallets processed through secure, authorised payment gateways; Cash on Delivery is not available, and any suspicious or fraudulent transaction may be cancelled without notice.

Shipping, Returns & Replacements:  We currently ship only within India, and our Shipping Policy explains estimated delivery timelines, charges, and what happens if a package is delayed, damaged, or lost; those timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Our Return, Replacement and Refund Policy explains that, because fragrance is a personal-use product, all sales are final and opened or used products cannot be returned for a change of mind or dislike of a fragrance; replacements are offered only for a wrong item delivered, transit damage, or a genuine manufacturing defect, reported within forty-eight hours of delivery along with supporting photos or video.

Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use:  All content on our website, including our brand name, logos, bottle and packaging designs, product names, fragrance stories, photography, and written content, is the exclusive intellectual property of Scented Story Co. Private Limited, and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent. When using our website, you agree not to submit false information, use bots or scrapers to copy our content, attempt to hack or disrupt our website, impersonate anyone, upload viruses or malware, or post abusive or unlawful content; we may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these rules and take appropriate legal action.

Liability, Governing Law & Contact:  To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scented Story Co. Private Limited and its directors, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products, and our total liability for any claim relating to your order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. We may update these Terms at any time, and the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date; continuing to use our website after such changes means you accept the updated Terms.
