Shipping policy

Order Processing & Dispatch: 
At Scented Story Club, we take care to prepare and dispatch every order in the finest condition. We currently ship exclusively within India; international shipping is not yet available, though we hope to offer it in the future and will announce this on our website when it launches. Orders are processed only after payment has been successfully confirmed, and are typically dispatched within one to two business days; orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or during sale periods may take a little longer to process. You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is accepted, and a shipment confirmation with a tracking link once it has been dispatched, which you can also view anytime from the Order History section of your account.

Delivery Timelines & Charges:  Estimated delivery timelines, from the date of dispatch, are approximately three to five business days for metro cities such as Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata; five to seven business days for Tier II and Tier III cities; and seven to ten business days for remote or semi-urban locations. These timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as actual delivery may be affected by courier capacity, weather, or other factors outside our control. Shipping charges, if any apply, are shown clearly at checkout before you complete payment, and we may offer free shipping during promotions or above a certain order value.

Address Accuracy & Delivery Attempts:  It is your responsibility to make sure the shipping address you provide at checkout, including house or flat number, street, landmark, city, state, and PIN code, is complete and accurate, since we are unable to change an address once an order has been dispatched and cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address details. Our courier partners will make reasonable delivery attempts at the address provided; if delivery is unsuccessful due to your unavailability or an incorrect address, the courier may attempt to contact you to reschedule, and if the shipment is returned to us, we will get in touch to arrange re-dispatch, which may involve an additional shipping charge.

Damaged, Delayed or Lost Shipments:  If your order arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging, please photograph or video it before opening, and if the product itself is damaged, contact us at query@scentedstoryclub.com within forty-eight hours of delivery with your order number, photos of the damage, and a brief description, so we can evaluate it under our Replacement Policy. If your shipment appears to be lost in transit, please wait until the estimated delivery window has passed before reaching out, so we can raise an investigation with our courier partner. We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or public health emergencies, though we will always try to keep you informed if such a delay affects your order.
